Accounts Receivable Clerk III

Bradman Lake Inc is a leading global supplier of total packaging solutions and is a subsidiary of Langley Holdings PLC, a privately owned business specializing in the design, development, manufacture and service of packaging machinery to an extensive range of industries including bakery, confectionery, consumer goods, dry products, frozen food, and health care.

 

Position Summary: Performs various clerical duties related to accounting function including processing and verifying applications for credit and soliciting payment on overdue accounts and working closely with all departments within the company.  Compiles necessary information from financial institutions such as banks and credit organizations.  Responsibilities also include keeping records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files, credit risks, and ensure appropriate billing and invoicing.  Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.  Uses knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting function.  Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.  Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required within company guidelines.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE SPECIFICATIONS:

·         Some College Coursework completed

·         1+ to 2 years relevant work experience with contract billing

·         Attention to detail

·         Pleasant phone demeanor

·         Efficient organizational skills

·         Sense of urgency as relates to deadlines and customer service priorities

·         Excellent Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook

·         Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

·         Adapts well to change

·         Knowledge of Visual Software
