Air Compressor Field Service Technician

Tencarva Machinery, one of the largest Rotary equipment distributors in the United States, is seeking a field service technician to service the Baltimore, MD area. Tencarva represents Atlas Copco the Largest compressor and dryer company in the world.

 

General responsibilities include working independently or as a team to provide competent, high quality maintenance services to the Maryland industrial market place.

 

Service technicians will be responsible to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial air compressors; to interface with sales support and sales engineers; to work safely and efficiently; and to complete all paper work on time. 

 

Experiance in working on rotary screw compressors such Kaeser, Ingersoll Rand, Gardner Dever, Kobelco, Sullair or Quincey is a plus.

 

Qualifications should include the following:

Electrical experience and aptitude

Mechanical experience and aptitude

Good communication and time management skills

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Education preferred: electrical or mechanical technical school training

Good and dependable work history
