Responsibilities
- The Aircraft Operations Technician troubleshoots, repairs and services aircraft and engine systems. May fuel and groom aircraft. Must know how to operate and interpret test equipment and understands wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings. Holds valid A&P license and may have attended manufacturer's approved training school. Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable knowledge, judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnel.
Current and valid Airframe and Power Plant certificate
- Experience in FAR part 91, 135 or 121 a plus
- Dornier 328 experience preferred
- Falcon aircraft experience.
- Honeywell 731 experience
- Pratt & Whitney 100 series engine practical experience
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical demands of lifting and twisting with 50lb objects and/or from a ladder
Travel Requirements:
- Possible travel for training and work assignments
- International travel possible
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
- 40 hour work week, day shift, evening shift, weekends and flexible schedule due to operational needs.
- Work schedule demands may require working on holidays
