Job Description Application Scientist - WDXRF The person in this position will be responsible for performing high-level demonstrations of WDXRF products in conjunction with our sales force; analyzing customer samples, training and preparing associated reports; and writing and presenting technical papers in support of the WDXRF products. Additional duties include providing technical feedback to internal channels and performing demonstrations and other pre-sales activities at conferences, trade shows and seminars. Travel requirements equal roughly 60% on an annual basis, including trips of over one week in duration. Other miscellaneous duties will be assigned. We require a bachelor degree in chemistry, physics or a related field, along with a minimum of five years previous experience in a sales, customer support role. Direct experience with industrial laboratory management and engineering skills are highly desirable. Applicants must have knowledge of both WDXRF and Production Laboratory Workflow. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Previous public speaking and technical writing experience, along with experience with wide range of sample types and elemental analysis techniques are preferred.
