Architectural & Design Specialist

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to be based in the New York City, New York area. Responsibilities include identifying and securing specification from: architectural and interior design communities, national accounts, retail, healthcare and hospitality accounts. Primary responsibilities include relationship building with top A&D accounts, project tracking major specifications, supporting owner selling/national account efforts, and supporting/working with distributor specification representatives in the territory. Requirements include: Bachelor's degree, knowledge of the specification selling process and bidding phases, sales negotiation skills, demonstrated customer aptitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We are looking for candidates with 5 - 7 years of specification related sales experience. Overnight travel is required.
