Area Sales Manager - Eastern United States

Rosler Metal Finishing is looking for its Sales Manager of Surface Finishing Equipment & Consumables for the Eastern United States Rosler Metal Finishing, headquartered in Battle Creek, Michigan, is a division of the Rosler Group, a privately owned multi-national company, headquartered in Germany, with annual sales of $355 million and over 1,200 employees worldwide. As the undisputed worldwide market leader in Surface Finishing Technologies we manufacture shot blasting, shot peening, vibratory finishing, and effluent treatment equipment as well as a comprehensive line of vibratory finishing consumables. To assist us in reaching our goal of becoming the North American market leader in Surface Finishing Technologies, we are looking for a SALES MANAGER OF SURFACE FINISHING EQUIPMENT & CONSUMABLES FOR THE EASTERN UNITED STATES After undergoing in-depth product training the position holder will become responsible for all sales activities within the assigned region. Major responsibilities include the development and support of our network of distributors/sales representatives as well as the development of new markets for our products. This is a key position within the Rosler sales organization; therefore the remuneration for this position is commensurate with its importance for our company. Responsibilities will include: Development of a network of distributors/sales representatives in your territory Active support and control of the distributors sales activities on behalf of Rosler Provide continued product training to the distributors Follow up on outstanding quotes with the goal of obtaining customer orders for Rosler products Develop new markets for the surface finishing technologies offered by Rosler Report on any significant developments (economic situation, important customers, competition, etc.) Provide customer support by trouble shooting Rosler products in the field Take all necessary action to achieve agreed-upon sales targets

 

RequirementsThe successful candidate will have a technical degree, preferably in engineering. Prior experience in selling capital equipment, preferably mass finishing and/or shot blast equipment is also required. Knowledge of working with distributors would be highly advantageous.
