Assembler / Mechanical

Job Summary: Assemble parts into units or subassemblies in accordance with standard procedures or blueprints/sketches. Major Responsibilities: Assemble production tools from blueprints and verbal instructions. Set-up and test units or subassemblies to specifications. Communicate with engineers to resolve problems related to production tools. Troubleshoot production tools, repairing if necessary. Perform skilled fittings of bearings, precise adjustments of alignment of moving parts and mechanisms. Perform assignments in accordance with written procedures, which advance quality policy. Qualifications: Must have own Tools High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ experience in heavy equipment assembly or maintenance.
