Assembly Mechanic

Busch, LLC is a leading global manufacturer of vacuum pumps and systems and is seeking experienced Assembly Mechanics to mechanically and electrically assemble and test vacuum pumping systems according to written specs and blueprints.

 





Duties & Responsibilities:

 

1. Mechanically assemble all components of a simple vacuum system.

2. Drill and tap holes.

3. Thread and fit piping and tubing.

4. Perform minor electrical assembly.

5. Test vacuum systems.

6. Prepare time, production and inventory records as required.

7. Verify performance of vacuum systems and control panels.

8. Operate a forklift.

9. Lift 25 pounds.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

1. Ability to read and understand simple drawings and specifications.

2. Ability to read and understand simple measurement instrumentation and gauges.

3. Possess basic mechanical assembly skills.

4. Ability to to perform mechanical wiring.

5. Knowledge of mathematics.

6. Ability to thread pipe.

 







Qualifications, Training and Experience:

 

1. High School diploma

2. Two to five years mechanical or heavy equipment assembly experience or equivalent  trade school.

3.  Electrical and/or welding experience helpful.
