Assistant Brand Manager

Our client is a major, well-established west coast producer and provider of fresh and processed food and beverage products.  Due to their growth, they are seeking an Assistant Brand Manager. You will learn Brand Management by doing it first-hand from day one; while at the same time have the opportunity to attend outside training programs to give you confidence that you are developing all critical skill sets necessary to achieve your professional marketing goals. You’ll be involved in analyzing marketplace consumer trends, promotion ideas, packaging, and new product development.  The brand management team is a small and elite group that works very closely with each other and nearly every other department in the company.  You’ll work closely with farming, production, sales, finance, purchasing, and especially R&D. Similar to other world-class CPG companies, you would have a variety of ongoing responsibilities designed to develop your basic marketing skills and give you significant exposure to all elements of brand management.  Unlike other CPG companies, however, your projects and strategic thinking skills will most likely land you in meetings with senior management with the opportunity to deliver your opinions and recommendations to all key decision makers in the company. A Bachelor’s degree and up to two years of experience is required for this position MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
