Assistant Controller

Dura Supreme is a privately-held manufacturer of custom and semi-custom cabinetry founded in 1963.  Our products are sold through kitchen designers, home remodelers and home builders and distributed throughout the United States.

Our company headquarters and manufacturing plant is located approximately 50 miles west of Minneapolis in rural Wright County, which offers our 700+ employees urban, suburban or rural living options in and around the Twin Cities area.

The Plant Controller position is responsible for accounting functions that include: preparation of monthly financials, bank reconciliation, supervision of Accounts Payable and Payroll, administering sales commissions, payment of state Sales Tax and Sales Tax refunds, WC reconciliations, working relationship with bank and audit firm, and miscellaneous projects.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance/Accounting and minimum 5 years experience in various accounting functions. Prefer some Public Accounting experience and Cost Accounting system implementation using MS Access.  Must be a change agent and a take charge person that can function without direct supervision.
