Assistant Controller - Mobile Industries

This position is responsible for the financial controlling organization supporting Mobile Industries.  This role is key to providing business plans, forecasts, and variance analysis for the Mobile Industries business as well as decision support to that team.  In addition to support for Mobile Industries, this position is also responsible Financial Planning and Analysis for the Bearings and Power Transmission organization, including S&A budgeting and reporting, Business Planning and Forecasting process, and working capital analysis.  As a result of the re-organization, this position will building a new team, helping to transition roles between the 3 controller groups, and creating the necessary processes to support Mobile Industries and Bearings and Power Transmission.This position will serve as proxy to the Mobile Industries Controller.   Other key responsibilities include:  Creation of  Mobile Industries business plan, forecasts, actual reporting, and variance analysis.  This is a $2.2B global business within the Timken company.  Due Diligence support for acquisitions and divestitures.Corporate and Legal Entity liaison for all of Bearings and Power TransmissionOverall process ownership for Bearings and Power Transmission team for business planning, forecasting, variance analysis, S&A budgeting and tracking ($500M S&A budget), and working capital analysis.  Schedules and data management to adhere to corporate schedulesBuild talent and manage financial controlling team  Required:  Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Division Controller MBA and a CPA are preferred Watch our video to  learn more about us. www.timken.com
