Position Summary:
As a Flexible Reporting team member, implement and maintain reporting tool and sustainable management reporting. Responsibilities will include the following:
Optimize and control data that is maintained in flexible reporting database
Execute full validation of Essbase database to ensure reliability of underlying data
Assist with required restatements to accomplish year over year comparability
Work with IT to ensure seamless automated feeds from subsystems to avoid manual intervention and possibilities of reporting error
Develop policies and procedures around flexible reporting tool and ensure compliance
Assist in delivery of training and testing
Develop and ensure controls to sustain accurate and timely reporting
Assist to identify and streamline data definitions across the enterprise
Assist with the definition of reporting business requirements for implementation
Partner with world-class close team on transactional step changes that interrelate with reporting
Participate in reporting strategy development to identify and develop step change opportunities to:
Improve management reporting content to enable more insights. Accelerate the delivery of reporting to enable more timely decision making. Improve real time access to information by implementing more robust drill down capability within the flexible reporting tool. Achieve full report automation where possible
Strategy development will include documenting the “as is” process, reaching out to understand the “customer voice” and external “best practices”
Drive selected step change projects that result from the strategy develop


Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate Business or Accounting degree
Minimum five years of total relevant professional finance experience, preferably with a good mix of reporting and systems experience
Strong project skills and controls orientation
Foundational experience in U.S. GAAP
Solid understanding of US GAAP and management reporting practices, as well as experience with reporting systems
Ability to assess processes and systems to determine whether they are functioning properly, and identify and implement corrective actions where needed
Proactively reach out to understand business needs and drive for reporting improvements and efficiency
Strong project skills to plan and execute to drive results
Heavy detail orientation


Desired Qualifications:
SAP, Hyperion Essbase, or other ERP/systems experience
