AW Technical Center USA, located in Ann Arbor Michigan is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aisin AW of Japan.  AW-TC was established in October of 1999 to research and develop automatic transmissions and car navigation systems for the US auto industry.

 

We have an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist who will administer all facets of human resources for the Company.  This position will support locations in Ann Arbor and Plymouth, MI.

 

Requirements:

4 year college degree in Human Resources or a related field 5-8 years of related experience Knowledge of state and federal employment law Experience recruiting technical, engineering, management and other specialized positions Familiar with benefit administration and payroll processing High level oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others and to motivate associates Computer skills in Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), familiar with HR systems and payroll software Self directed and the ability to operate independently

 

Job Duties:

Recruiting, manpower planning and new hire orientation Administration of employee benefit programs includes, new enrollments, claims processing and related reporting Compensation administration and payroll processing Performance management and employee development Administration and development of human resources policies Employee relations including counseling and conflict management Worker’s compensation administration and safety Other related duties
