Position Summary:
The Assistant Manager in manufacturing is responsible for forecasting results and performing monthly close responsibilities, in addition to leading Product Supply F&A initiatives to improve processes and financial controls.
Efficiently and accurately prepare manufacturing expense forecasts while improving forecast accuracy, including operating standards development.
Efficiently and accurately close the books on a monthly basis and consistently communicate results.
Successfully lead various Finance initiatives and provide ad hoc financial support to the categories and manufacturing function
Ensure strong internal controls are maintained at the manufacturing facilities.
Ad hoc projects as identified
Improve existing processes in conjunction with World Class Close objectives
Manage, develop and inspire product costing and MCOE staff to achieve individual and team performance goals.
Be self sufficient through successful planning and prioritizing that will enable minimal supervision.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 4 years work experience preferably in cost accounting
Consumer Packaged Goods or manufacturing industry experience
SAP knowledge
Strong analytical skills
Solid communication skills - written and oral
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
Experience working with cross-functional teams
