International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), a world leader in the creation and manufacture of innovative flavors and fragrances currently has an outstanding opportunity at our South Brunswick, NJ facility: 

 

BILL OF LADING CLERK

 

Provides critical documentation & information flow within the order fulfillment process through the generation of Delivery Notes and Bills of Lading, utilizing reports such as ZFIS and ZOOG, transfer orders & labels. Communicate order related issues with the Customer Service Department.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

-Creates Bills of Lading for all Canada orders. Creates transfer orders for all export, Canada, and domestic orders

 

-Interfaces with customer service with respect to changes, emergencies and information transfer. Completes Transfer Orders & verify data for export process with in house forwarder. Initiates request for any necessary export documents.

 

-Stock Transport Orders: Review of email in addition to report generation is important to successful STO movement. Affiliates requests are as routine as any customer. Reports alone don't tell the entire story and time difference makes for tough communication except by email.

 

-ZLM Delivery: This refers to SAP work outside the normal parameters of Order Fulfillment. The tolling process, off site warehouse inventory transfer, special samples & R&D re-supply.

 

-Processes insurance claims

 

-Reviews bill of ladings for prepaid and add, incorporates freight charges on to orders, files all bill of ladings 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Minimum:

 

• 3-5 years computer background.

 

• Experience in manufacturing environment and dealing with customer related situations.

 

• Ability to handle multiple tasks. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. 

 

Preferred:

 

• SAP, traffic scheduling/management experience

 

• IATA certification. 

 

Business knowledge is helpful. Flexible hours as shift's & workload demands require.
