BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE/SR CHANNEL SALES OPPORTUNITY

With sales topping $185 million, exciting new products, a new 150,000 square foot state-of-art manufacturing facility, 14 US sales offices, as well as International locations, we are a leading Manufacturer of Ergonomics and Ergonomic solutions.  We are seeking a Sr-level, outside sales representative to drive revenue through our channel partners in the Harrisburg territory.  This position will be based home-based.

 

Business Development Representative

Description:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for growing end-user accounts by partnering with office furniture dealers. 


Responsibilities:

-Marketing and selling ergonomic workplace solutions to furniture dealers, end-user prospects and customers.

-Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goals.

-Facilitate regular dealer training sessions on ergonomics and products to dealer sales reps.

-Lead strategic business and forecasting discussions with dealer principles to meet dealer sales goals, establish new accounts and grow existing customer sales. 

-Maintain regular weekly, monthly and quarterly contact with dealerships and end-user customers.

-Set up product tests or demos for end-users.

-Serves as a liaison between customer service and the customer on shipment and quality matters.

-Develops strategic plans with dealers to support, maximum penetration of target accounts.

-Facilitate presentations for prospective clients.

-Completing sales activity and opportunity reports, sales order paperwork, and installation. assistance and general customer service as well as maintaining customer contact database.

-Strong understanding of all products.

-Effectively work with other personnel.

 

Qualifications:

5 years of business-to-business sales experience.  Channel or distributer sales experience is a plus.

Bachelor’s Degree

Successful track record of sales planning and execution.

Working knowledge of MS Office and associated applications.

Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal skills.

Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities.

Aggressive follow-up and closing skills.

 

Salary:

Commensurate with experience, consists of a base salary + commission.  We also provide medical/dental benefits, paid vacation time, laptop, cell phone, auto expenses and all business expenses.
