Exterran is seeking Basin Supply Chain Manager for our Yukon, OK location.

 

Primary Responsibilities and AssignmentsManage materials planning, purchasing, materials control and warehouse functions for 4 district locations Develop materials plans to support business objectives including customer service (both internal and external), on-time delivery, inventory turns, cost, etc. Identify and implement material planning strategies within Oracle. Coordinate cross-functional activities to formulate disposition actions of slow moving or obsolete material. Manage inventory turns metric and manage improvement. Coordinate with Corporate Supply Chain to identify and establish long-term strategic relationships with critical suppliers. Manage supply base by developing procurement plans and actively measuring supplier performance. Analyze purchase price variances Establish regional price agreements and contracts. Manage the creation and closure of WIP jobs. Develop, implement and maintain an Inventory Cycle count program that achieves 99% accurate inventory levels. Ensures material control throughout basin facilities. Analyze data and publish reports on key performance metrics. Develop, implement and maintain department work procedures.
Identify and implement process improvement ideas.


Education and Certification

Required:Must have a BA/BS or equivalent work experience. Must have 3 plus years progressive materials management experience.


Specific Work Background/Experience

Required:Minimum 10 yrs experience working with natural gas compressors. Previous leadership in a shop/manufacturing environment. Multi-site responsibility. Proficient computer skills and numerous software packages, i.e. Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in all business segments such as budgeting, finance, analysis, etc. 

 

Special Requirements/Additional Comments

Required:Problem-solving skills. Good oral and written communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and work under pressure. Thorough knowledge of intergrated business systems, Oracle perferred, and Microsoft Office products. Demonstrated leadership skills.

Desired:Experience in a custom or job-shop environmen.
Experience in supply chain, quality, and/or process improvement.
