Benchman/Polisher

Ameritech Die & Mold, established in 1985, is located convenient to Charlotte, NC yet removed enough to miss the traffic.  In addition, our location is only 1/2 mile from Interstate 77 and Highway 150 (exit 36).  We produce medium to lower cavitation injection molds for a variety of industries.  Our specialties include P-20 3D contoured molds with numerous lifter and slide applications in the 200 - 1000 ton press size range.

We are looking to fill the following positions:

 - Mold Designer:  Preferred candidate will be capable of complete concept and 3D design.  Knowledge   of Solidworks a plus.

 - Mold Design Detailer:  Entry to mid-level experience

 - Benchman/Polisher

 - CNC Gun Drill Operator

 - CNC Programmer/Machinist: 2D and 3D positions are available.  Offline programming experience preferred.  We current use Surfcam and Cimatron software.

We are looking for excellent attitudes and a desire to achieve the highest excellence in mold building. Unattended CNC operation and the desire to implement lights out manufacturing are a must.  Our Enshus, OKK, Makino and Kuraki all use FANUC controls.
