Primary Responsibilities:
Drive consistent benefit administration across all platforms (salaried and hourly) within Doosan Infracore International. Work with Benefits Manager and third party administrator and/or vendors to resolve issues.
1. Health and Welfare:
a. Responsible for benefit administration for new hires (including orientation), terminations, deaths and retirements for the DII corporate offices.
b. Act as a liaison with third party administrators and vendors; considered to be an “expert” in all DII benefits.
c. Point of contact for benefits service center to assist, advise, interpret plan documents and resolve Tier 2 issues.
d. Ensure plan documents and other educational materials are current and available for participant access.
2. Defined Contribution:
a. Assure the accuracy of all transaction processing and reporting through monthly defined contribution plan reconciliations.
b. Responsible for administration of defined contribution plan for compliance with regulatory requirements, communication of plan highlights and changes, and non-discrimination and compliance testing.
c. Assist in research and resolution of plan administrative issues including plan document review, legal and compliance questions, and vendor audit to assure accurate plan administration.
3. Defined Benefit:
a. Perform defined benefit (pension) calculations, according to applicable plan guidelines, for active and term vested employees.
b. Develop an understanding of the plans and our customer needs to respond timely and accurately.
c. Process indicative data updates to database and maintain accurate system elements (set-up)
d. Establish processing schedule for: balancing and reconciliation of annuity payments, metrics and audits.
e. Work closely with trust on set up, changes, reconciliation and tax reports.
4. Non Qualified Benefit Plan:
a. Assure the accuracy of all transaction processing and reporting of Monthly/annual deferral elections.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelors degree required 2. Previous work experience in the defined contribution and benefit areas strongly desired 3. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical. 4. Working knowledge of payroll and/or HRMS systems preferred 5. Proficient use of MS Office – specifically excel 6. Ability to maintain confidentiality. 7. Some travel required; frequent during first 3-6 months
