Benefits Coordinator

The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative support responsibilities in the area of benefits. • Benefits - Answer routine questions of employees, both current and prior, regarding Cafeteria, Retirement, and Stock Plans as well as other benefits. Respond to routine inquiries from other Terex business units regarding same. • New Hires - Assemble new hire benefit packets. Assist with the orientation of new hires with regards to Company policies and benefit programs. Follow-up with new employees on enrollment and to ensure any necessary paperwork is returned timely and accurate. Data entry of new hire eligibility as it relates to benefits. • Terminations - Follows termination procedure by alerting providers for COBRA notification and convertible benefit policies. • Administration - Process employee benefit elections. Maintain employee PHI and benefit files. Prepare initial stock grant paperwork for upload to vendor. Coordinate Deferred Compensation employee and employer contributions with other Terex business units. Download weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports for internal auditing purposes. Prepare monthly inter-company billing for 401(k), Deferred Compensation and ESPP for business units. Perform other clerical/administrative functions as necessary. Prepares other miscellaneous reports or subject research as requested. EDUCATION/TRAINING An Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. EXPERIENCE 2 - 5 years experience in benefit practices and procedures. SKILLS Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) as well as organizational skills with strict attention to detail.  Proficient in MS Office applications.
