Benefits Manager

The Benefits Manager will be responsible for managing, negotiating and developing medical, dental, life and disability benefits plans. They will take the initiative to design, develop, and implement benefit plans that are appropriate for the company’s goals and compliant with applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical with in-depth knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, extensive knowledge of benefit plan design, cost control, compliance and administration. The Benefit Manager must be able to accurately determine the true cost of benefits and continuously strive to improve cost performance while ensuring that benefits offered are consistent with similar organizations and competitive in their industry.

Specific Requirements Include:Minimum 7-10 years experience in benefits administration, specifically medical, dental, life and disabilityExperience with cost savings initiatives with multiple state plansExperience with plan design and vendor negotiations Experience working with union, PPO’s, and HMO plansBachelors Degree required
