Recruiting Services International, LLC has a great opportunity available in Jessup, MD for a Benefits and Compensation Manager.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Benefits
Responsible for the overall administration of Company benefit programs for 1100 employees and 300 retirees at four locations. Most benefits provided by parent company. Major job duties are coordinating and conducting annual benefits open enrollment, retiree billing, completing various reports such as EEO-1, Vets-100, FMLA, medical, dental and life insurance monthly expense and headcount reports. Other duties include updating employee data for various retirement plans, including Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k), and conducting new hire orientation and exit interviews. Supervises one Benefits Assistant.
Compensation
Administers salary and wage programs and ensures equitable and consistent application of compensation policies and guidelines. Studies and analyzes wage and/or salaried jobs using current market data. Evaluates jobs using Hay and other established evaluation systems, determines grades and prepares records of the validity of the evaluations. Conducts compensation surveys and participates in compensation surveys conducted by other organizations. Develops, recommends, and writes job evaluation and compensation procedures. Assists in the administration of merit rating programs, reviewing changes in wages and salaries for conformance to policy. Audits evaluation of jobs and application of existing job classifications. Maintains all job descriptions and historic data pertaining to same. Assists in expatriate compensation matters.
HRIS
Serves as Ceridian HRIS administrator/functional HR user. Major job duties are working with system data, writing reports, training and providing guidance to other HR users in system navigation and data entry, serving as liaison between Human Resources and Ceridian and facilitating system upgrades.
Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree, 5 to 10 years of experience in Benefits and Benefits Administration, prior experience in developing and administering compensation plans, and PHR or SPHR certification. Candidates must also have strong computer skills and HRIS experience.
