Position Description:

Norandex Building Material Distribution is a $800 million unit of Saint-Gobain and is one of the largest distributors of vinyl siding in the U.S. The company operates 150 branches in 37 states and sells exterior building products to new home builders and remodeling contractors in their respective territories. Primary products include exterior siding (vinyl, wood, and aluminum), windows/doors; decking, fencing, and rain carrying gear. We are seeking a Branch Operations Manager for the Binghamton, NY area to oversee 4-6 employees.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a Branch Operating Manager – this position reports to the District Manager and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the branch. Responsibilities include leading all warehouse, delivery operations, inside sales, order entry, customer service, accounting and inventory management activities.The successful candidate must have 2-5 years previous leadership experience (preferable in the building products industry or a distribution environment). Post high school education in a business and accounting discipline, or equivalent on-the-job training is also preferred.
