Business Analyst - Oracle APS and OPM Applications

Teva USA products are marketed to chains, wholesalers, distributors, hospitals, managed care entities, and government agencies. Responsibilities: * Configures the Oracle applications 11i for Advance Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing and Manufacturing modules in Process manufacturing environment to function within the defined business processes. * Work with the business unit personnel in the development and support of the company's business process and strategies in the assigned functional area. * Accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of management. * Develop an overall understanding of Teva's business processes. Learn in detail the business procedures of the operations group. * Consults with business unit management and staff to identify, analyze and document business needs and objectives. * Writes and maintains functional specifications for new or modified business systems/processes. * Consults and coordinates with IT staff to design, develop and enhance automated business systems. * Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing. * Identifies and resolves system and/or procedural problems encountered during testing and post production support. * Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications. * Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, test scripts and procedures. * Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests. * Prepares time and cost estimates for completing projects. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Approximately 10% Domestic & International Qualifications: EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field. Preferred certifications: APICS, PMP JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Training, skills, and experience): Required: * 5+ years in a business IT environment implementing and supporting Oracle ASCP and Oracle Process Manufacturing applications. * Specific knowledge of Oracle process execution, Oracle product development, OPM inventory and Advance supply chain modules. * Other specialized knowledge or experience in manufacturing operations (preferably pharmaceuticals). * Project management experience including implementation of ERP based solutions. * Experience in interacting with all levels of management. * Strong analytical and process skills.
