BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

American Excelsior Company is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual committed to promoting the continued success of the company. Under the general management of the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase the organizations business and market share. Responsibilities include: identifying target accounts and working with management; achieving specific goals for closing new business; developing new customers through networking, referrals, company lead generation, and cold calling; planning and preparing sales presentations for existing and prospective customers; participating in the RFP process and leading negotiations with the customer which includes preparation of agreements and possible structuring of financing solutions. Candidate will also help direct marketing efforts for company. This position is based in Arlington, TX with limited travel.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have a four-year degree in business administration or related field and at least 5 years of progressive sales experience in a related area.  Must have a proven track record and demonstrate aptitude with complex business transactions, pricing and project finance, and financial models.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

- Demonstrated verbal presentation and interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with peers, management, clients, and the general public.
- A thorough understanding of internal and external economic factors (e.g., cost, margins, and profit impact of decisions) affecting assigned areas.
-  Sales and marketing experience in the industry. Construction industry a plus.
- The capability to develop sales and marketing plans to ensure the success of all products.
