Business Group Financial Analyst - H1729

Job Description - Work closely with Business Group functional teams to understand spending dynamics; prepare and present spending reports to Sr. Mgmt. - Drive Enterprise BG functions to hit spending forecasts and forecast accuracy objectives - Query financial systems to prepare spending reports that show overall spending (both controllable and non controllable) that impacts the enterprise business group profit & loss statements - Help identify opportunities and risks in spending forecasts - Assist in preparing analysis of competitive cost & margins vs. Hitachi GST - Coordinate and run weekly business group operations meetingsJob Requirements - Ability to work with excel to prepare financial models - Ability to work with Essbase and Data Warehouses to coordinate data analysis - Ability to coordinate inputs from multiple people and departments - Excellent organization and communication skills - Understanding of GAAP accounting and basic accounting pricinplesHow to Apply TO APPLY: hgstcareers@hitachigst.com Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
