Sr. Business Objects Developer

 

Project Scope or Application:

Lead and oversee the creation of Business Objects Universes as well as provide technical oversight and leadership to junior Business Objects Developers.

 

This position requires a senior level of technical skills in Business Objects, Webi and SQL.  You will utilize advanced technical trouble shooting and problem resolutions skills in the maintenance and development of reporting universes and database driven solutions. 

 

Responsibilities:Create and review SQL statements and views Participate in design and strategy for DSS system Provide input and estimates for development project timelines for reporting solutions projects Create Business Objects Universes Advise and provide technical solutions and appropriate technical paths for customers Provide team leadership for reporting activities

Required skills:3+ years experience developing and maintaining Business Objects systems 3+ years experience with various Business Objects tools and techniques, including:
-  Extracting data into Excel
-  Using the Business Objects scheduler
-  Creating Business Objects templates
-  Creating dashboards Ability to maintain existing Business Objects universes and create new universes 1 + year experience with Webi 3+ years experience with SQL Server 5 + years of gathering, analyzing and writing business reporting requirements 2 + years experience analyzing data models for incorporation into Business Objects universe design.
