Business Systems Analyst

SAP SDSM Functional Systems Analyst

The SDSM Functional Analyst will be accountable for maintaining and supporting the organization's SAP business system while also managing a multitude of small to larger implementations of new business requirements. This role will engage with users, SAP subject matter experts, VP’s and cross function teams while working within the Information Technology group itself.

Candidates must have knowledge and experience in the SAP SD and SM modules, be familiar with standard SAP practices in change mgmt processes between SAP instances, have experience with the Variant Configuration and have had experience in working with SAP workflow. This individual will be expected to work effectively with teams to drive objectives while fostering team work as well as manage client relationships. The candidate must be able to self-direct and be capable of working in time-compressed, highly dynamic & potentially ambiguous situations to ensure milestones & deliverables are achieved.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years SAP SD & SM Functional experience. Candidates must have demonstrated hands on configuration experience in Sales & Distribution & Service Mgmt in at least 2 full life cycle implementations of successful projects. High tech manufacturing, off shore and international location/business unit experience a plus.Adheres to architectural goals and principles, implement functions to support business processesFollows designs through from conception through deployment to ensure the architectural integrity of the solution Assesses technical risks relative to software and system design and consult with various teams (design, implementation, and quality assurance) Coordinates with teams and business leaders to identify, analyze, and implement areas of process improvement Create process documentation and designs Collaborates with department resources to create and maintain deliverables associated with Project Definition, Analysis, Design, Testing, and rollout Draws on functional knowledge of applications, knowledge of industry standards, and knowledge of customer's business requirements to support delivery of solutions that meet business needs Experience in SAP R/3 software configuration and project implementation is required Experience with SAP SDSM application requiredDemonstrate successful history of working with cross-functional departments and work teams to re-design processes
