BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER – WISCONSIN



Premier leader in the manufacturing of high volume precision metal components is currently seeking a results-driven Business Unit Manager at its southeastern Wisconsin location.  Key objectives will be to oversee all aspects of the location as its own business, improve machine operator efficiencies, reduce tooling and cutting oil costs, reduce raw material and labor costs, improve inventory turns, meet on-time customer delivery requirements, and develop staff leadership abilities of direct reports.



The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field, minimum of 10 years management experience in manufacturing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  The ideal candidate will be proficient in driving results using measurements and tactical planning techniques, have the ability to articulate a collaborative vision and build consensus, possess knowledge of layout processes, machining and engineering, and will be able to understand the impact of decisions upon all aspects of the business.  Experience in a job shop environment and knowledge of machined metals is essential.
