Buyer II

Ferrari Color Inc, a dynamic national leader in the production of wide-format and display graphics, is looking for a multi-task oriented Buyer II in our Salt Lake City office. Headquartered in Salt Lake City with offices in Sacramento and Emeryville, Ferrari Color focuses on the production of POP retail graphics, vehicle graphics, sport/stadium signage and tradeshow graphic displays. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Ferrari Color offers high quality product to a high profile clientele. 

We are looking for a positive-minded team player with good organizational, communication and computer skills.  Duties include but are not limited to the following:

·  Implements and maintains procedures for procuring materials and services

·  Partners with suppliers to achieve uninterrupted supply and optimum cost and quality

·  Interfaces with production planning and other internal departments to ensure materials, services and supplies are available to meet production schedules

·  Recommends contracts with vendors; develops new supply sources

·  Maintains current catalogs, price lists, vendor information and related information for reference

·  Works closely with sales to link forecasts to purchasing and inventory management

·  Identifies and implements strategies for cost reduction and containment



Qualified candidates will possess:

 

·  3+ years of direct purchasing and vendor relations

·  Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience

·  Purchasing accreditation preferred

·  Knowledge of shipping systems

·  Knowledge of purchasing systems and supply management

·  Strong problem solving, planning, negotiation, and decision-making skills

·  Excellent computer skills
