Providing temperature-controlled environments for food and other perishables are essential in today’s global market. Through our Climate Control Technologies sector and Thermo King and Hussmann brands, we provide global solutions for the transportation and retail refrigeration market.





We are currently seeking an experienced Buyer Planner Sr. at our Bridgeton, MO location.



This position encompasses the following :

Determine material requirements and implement purchasing strategies to achieve inventory, service level and cost Reduction goals. Propose and lead implementation of projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes. Position generally focuses on highly technical commodities.

Analyze planning system to control inventory levels to meet plant objectives.
Develop and lead implementation of ideas to reduce costs, standardize components, and adapt new supplier technologies.
Independently develop and implement plans and source parts as required from plants, production vendors or new vendors.
Build strong value-adding relationships with suppliers, plants (e.g. Engineering and Supply Management).
Lead development of supply chains for new products and/or services proposed or implemented by plant.
Work with vendors to resolve quality problems in a timely manner.
Participate on or lead special project teams and other duties as assigned.
