CAD Design Engineer

Leading manufacturer of quality aluminum street furniture providing solutions to the architectural, building and construction, and mass transit infrastructure industries requires a CAD Design Engineer. 


Duties: Responsible for product design and manufacturing process of fabricated aluminum products. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value.

Requirements: Candidate should possess a degree in mechanical or structural discipline. Knowledge of extruded aluminum and sheet metal materials with fabrication/machining/welding/manufacturing processes is preferred, as is understanding of structural analysis, wind and snow loads.

An interest or experience in LED applications and solar-powered integration is desired as well.

The candidate must be competent in AutoCad and/or Inventor.
