CNC MACHINE TOOL SERVICE ENGINEER

We have an immediate need for an experienced CNC Machine Tool Service Engineer to work out of our Elgin, IL office. Travel for this position would be northern Illinois.  The qualified candidate should have the following experience:  Associates Degree in Electronics At least 5 years hands on experience in maintenance/service of CNC machines CNC Lathe and Mill operation, installation, modification and repair Strong electrical troubleshooting background Able to read and follow ladder and wiring diagrams Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair Knowledge of automatic tool changers and pallet / product changers Ballscrew & axis support bearing replacement & alignment Spindle replacement and repairs Basic CNC Programming capability Excellent communication skills and personal computer skills Company:  Methods Machine Tools Inc.
