CNC Operator, Machine Shop

 Interface Associates is an 11 year old, fast-growth medical machine and contract manufacturing company that provides solutions for catheter manufacturing.  Products include balloon forming machines, catheter assembly and test equipment, balloon development, and balloon contract manufacturing.  Plants are located in Laguna Niguel and Aliso Viejo, CA.  Significant profitable growth and recent cash infusion from investment partners, positions the company to go to the next level of performance.

 

Summary

 

As a Machinist / Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Technician you will shape metal and various materials to precise dimensions by using machine tools. MT/CNC technicians plans and set up the correct sequence of machine operations in accordance with blueprints, layouts or other instructions to write both manual and computer-generated machine programs. The technician is required to use various hand tools, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

 

To be most effective in the manufacutring environment of today, you will need to be able to read blueprints, perform basic shop math, ready measurement rools and communicate effectively with others using today's Machine Tool/CNC terminology.

Education and Experience

 

Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
