Avibank is looking in hiring talented people that can make immediate contributions to our growing organization.  We are currently looking for a CNC PROGRAMMER SR. 

 

 

Summary:  Completely and independently programs Computerized Numerical Control multiple operation machines at the highest level of complexity for all jobs requiring bends, punches, roll forms, beads, cuts and welds, solders, or clinches of metal to fabricate workpieces, also capable of setting up and operating CNC machines as necessary,  by performing the following duties.

 

Responsabilities:  

 

·  Studies Blueprint and specifications to determine exact programming needs for CNC machine.

·  Writes program using specified software.

·  Tests program to ensure machining operation(s) comply to print and specifications.

·  Ensures that proper CNC program is set up for the operator to run the assigned work order

·  Places roll of metal sheet, strip, or wire onto feedrack and threads end into drive rolls or through machine.

·  Positions metal blanks manually into feed rolls, or feeds blanks into hopper or onto feed conveyor.

·  Starts machine, observes operation, and verifies finished product.

·  Tightens bolts or turns knobs or handwheels to specified points on scale or dial to reset and maintain original setup of machine.

·  Tends two or more work stations of mechanized line of machines operating in tandem.

·  Trains other Mill machine workers in methods, procedures and techniques.

·  Trains other CNC programmers in complex programming

 

Education and/or Experience:

Two years Technical or Trade School with appropriate certification and two to three years related experience; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
