CNC Systems Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer

With more than 14,000 employees in more than 56 countries, we combine our global reach with a local presence.  Our Kalamazoo, MI facility is looking for an experienced CNC Systems Programmer to perform the following duties:Train new and existing users on the use of our File Management software & EspritHelp develop and implement standard manufacturing processes and procedures across our FSD locationsSupport post processors development (verify & coordinate updates)Provide problem solving and support to our end usersCreate Machine tool models for Tool path simulation using Inventor 2009Support family part programming initiatives to drive programming throughput and quality

Qualifications and Competencies:Esprit 2006 (or later programming experience) or other Graphic based CAM softwareAbility to program Multi-axis machine tools and or operational experienceAbility to work with Engineering to maximize the use of standard tooling / part features (Design for Manufacturability)Ability to read EIA code to verify post processor output for various CNC machine toolsStrong communications skills in dealing with others (ability to work in a team atmosphere)Strong self-motivation, willingness to learn, good work ethics.Competent in PC usage with working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel.Excellent oral and written communications skillsStrong metal cutting background with emphasis in the machining of stainless steelsInventor / AutoCAD working knowledgeVB6 or VB.net programming experience5 years Machining experience (10 years preferred)Microsoft SQL or Microsoft Access Database experience
