Description:Within assigned district the Technical Consultant is responsible for augmenting sales efforts by providing pre-sales technical, products, and applications assistance to the customer on-site as well as via telephone. Individual coordinates and expedites resolution of key technical issues in assigned geography (recalls, quality issues, etc.). Responsible for providing ongoing support to sales engineers and distributors to retain existing business. Participates in pre-sales applications and problem solving with regards to spec reviews, take-offs, and product selection and preparing proof of concept demos, local product launches, seminars and marketing activities.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science Engineering, other related technical field or equivalent experience Previous work experience in design, manufacturing or applications of industrial automation equipment, personal computers and various computer operating systems is highly desirable. .Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceRockwell Automation offers a competitive benefit plan.
