Controls Engineer / Project LeaderSalary in the $70,000 range plus paid OT and excellent benefitsCompany is an international manufacturing company located near Grand Rapids, MI and is a world leader for warehouse and distribution engineering product movement applications.Responsibile for planning, leading and performance of large projects.  Maintain good communication with inside and outside departments. Train team members. Insure balance of mechanical equipment and controls equipment. Research technical issues, report presentations, for internal and customers.  Assists in policy issues.Requirements:MUST HAVE: BS DegreeMUST HAVE: 6 to 10 years experience in a robotics type environment with warehouse and distribution and material handling engineering applications.MUST HAVE: Detailed understanding of PLC and automatic stacking and retrieval systems (AS/RS), sortation and induction. Experience with applicable software like (Sequel RDB, C++, VB, Kernel device driversExperience with serial communications like DeviceNet or ControlNet.Understand code standards related to UL, NEC, IEC, ASME, NFPA, B20.1 etc.Excellent communication and facilitation skills.US Citizenship or Green Card.Relocation help as candidate chosen must reside in the Grand Rapids, MI area.Travel about 40%Please send your resume along with your current compensation and a daytime contact number.*** All Replies Confidential ***
