COST ACCOUNTANT

Major Duties and Responsibilities

·Conduct and document financial analysis projects.

·Assist with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, cost   control, and project control.

·Analyze and evaluate capital expenditures, profit plans, operating records, financialstatements.

· Conduct and lead internal audits.

· Review costs and recommend areas for improvement

· Provide reports specifying and comparing factors affecting price and profitability.

· Advise and present financial data to management and staff, as requested.

 

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) from four-year College or university; ten or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office

· Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
