ADVANCED QUALITY PLANNING COST/FINANCE ANALYST 

 

Job Descriptions – Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead rating of all new business deals based upon customer requirements, logistical design, critical assumptions and operating/financial standards.  Includes pricing of LLP, third party logistics, warehousing, subassembly, cross-dock operations, as well as interaction with external customers, sales, engineering, operations and senior leadership.Insure and coordinate completion of value propositions, risk analysis and business case when appropriate. Manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of completion. Lead the development of new tools and standards to support future lines of business. Present cost analysis to clients; actively participate in project discussions/scope changes that affect overall profitability.Perform post analysis of operating performance with Finance teams on completed deals identifying costing differences, assumption errors and making appropriate adjustments/improvements to standard rating factors and pricing model/tools. Maintain metrics and update summary reports of new business activity required for forecasting and planning. Special projects as requested by local/ senior leadership.

 Qualifications:Seven to ten years of financial and logistics industry experience Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting, MBA / CPA / CMA or comparable degrees/certifications preferred. Logistics/transportation pricing, auditing and 3rd party freight/warehouse management experience preferred. Excellent financial analysis skills and ability to formulate creative pricing solutions Strong knowledge of accounting, financial, operational systems and processes. Excellent PC skills including Office Suite(Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) Strong presentation skill set with track record of communicating effectively to major clients.Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to travel 15% - 20%
