CPM Design Engineer II - Southeastern I

CPM Design Engineer IIJoin a world leader in the agricultural and construction equipment businesses.   Basic Function: Performs product evaluations, prepares reports, and provides general engineering support to develop and enhance current products   Responsibilities: Is acquainted with the organization and the overall engineering operation, and performs assigned duties within the Product Engineering and Evaluation Departments. Participates in the process of testing prototype machines/components in actual or simulated field conditions, and support the Product Evaluation organization in performing the testing process. Participates in the process for submitting routine reports and summaries concerning machine performance, reliability, serviceability, safety and customer appeal. Constructs test equipment, dissembles experimental machines, makes repairs, determines cause of failure and perform related duties as assigned for the overall evaluation of specific test machines or components. Travels to remote sites working with some direct supervision as required. Works directly with other engineering and manufacturing personnel and is learning to work in a team environment. Is familiar with competitive equipment, learning to operate, test and compare the different products. Becomes familiar with standards and ISO Procedures and work instructions.  Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Required in Engineering with emphasis in mechanical, agricultural, industrial, and/or electrical disciplines. 2 plus years of product engineering experience, or a related Master’s Degree.
