CREDIT MANAGER-MI

 

Letica Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastic and paper packaging products, is seeking a Credit Manager to join our corporate headquarters in Rochester, MI. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Managing the corporate credit function

· Monitoring and reporting the company’s credit exposure

· Developing financial evaluation systems and procedures to control potential credit losses 

· Contacts customer accounts that are past due to resolve delinquencies and to ensure prompt payment.  Maintains files and initiates follow-up calls when necessary.  Delegates and supervises other collectors to do the same.

· Performs credit investigation of new accounts.

· Interfaces with the Customer Service / Sales Department to resolve credit and billing issues and disputes regarding shipments, products or accompanying follow-up activity.  Delegates and supervises other collectors to do the same.

· Reviews and releases, as appropriate, sales orders placed on credit hold / review for all shipping locations.  Delegates and supervises others to do the same.

· Negotiates with credit-impaired insureds, producers, and other debtors to recover amounts due with a minimum of loss. 

· Supervise the review and audit of daily invoicing procedures and invoices.

· Supervise the review and audit of all credit and pricing changes input in the ERP (Avante) system.

· Evaluates and supervises the commission and rebate arrangements and the processing and accounting of all the commissions and rebates.

· Develops and maintains a system for cash flow reporting.

· Assists in the design and implementation of corporate credit and collection policies and procedures to control potential losses from credit exposure and maximize cash flow.

· Ensures compliance to all federal and state Fair Debt and Collection laws

 

 Requirements:

·  Minimum 10 years experience in a credit/collection environment preferably in a manufacturing environment.

·  Bachelor’s Degree in business Administration or Finance

·  Have previous management experience
