Cable Assembly Prototype Technician (Technician 1)

Primary job duty is to manufacture First Article Cable Assemblies and define and document the manufacturing assembly instructions for subsequent manufacturing.

Will work from customer prints, and written and verbal instructions from Engineering.

Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years, hands on cable assembly, wiring harness and electro mechanical assembly experience.

Must be skilled at soldering, crimping, wire and cable preparation, connector assembly, and industry test requirements, over molding experience is a plus.

Some experience building prototype assemblies and documenting assembly instructions using digital camera, concise written instructions and CAD software is required.

Excellent communication skills both oral / written is a must.
