Calibration/Electronic Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Performs calibration of process and testing equipment.

· Assists Quality Engineering with material evaluations and equipment and process validations. 

· Performs basic tests and collects data.

· In conjunction with Quality Engineering, tests and analyzes products to verify complaints.

· Assists with training of Q.C. inspectors in measurement techniques and the use of various measuring instruments and gauges.

· Performs inspection and functional test for the SCT 3000 Humidifiers to maintain stock in the warehouse.

· Electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshoots/repairs Misty Ox Turboheaters.

· Writes and edits procedures pertaining to specific calibration or other duties.

· Assembles new testing fixtures and repairs defective fixtures.

· Adheres to FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, CE and internal procedures and policies.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

    ASQ certified – Calibration Technician Certification

Experience: Three years strong mechanical and dimensional background

Extensive calibration knowledge

Basic electrical troubleshooting ability
