Call Center Representative - Southland Log Homes

Southland Log Homes, the nation’s largest log home producer and industry leader, is currently seeking a Call Center Representative for our Irmo, SC corporate office.

 

The successful candidate will provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers relative to the growth and development of the company. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

v Determine interest and progress of potential buyers, and direct them to the sales staff, with the overriding goal of getting the customer back into the sales office

v Provides sales support through:

o Assisting with daily customer follow-up and contacts using a call center script.

o Entering data, auditing queries, and detecting duplicate information within Siebel.

o Maintains accurate lead code maintenance guidelines and valid code lists.

o Queries database on “older” prospects (to determine current interest)

o Handle email blast responses, recode and inform sales

o Assist in entering leads generated from log homes shows, etc. as needed

o Sending follow up emails to customers who are unable to be reached by phone

v Provides marketing assistance through:

o Performing telephone surveys

o Informing customers of current promotion

o Directing customers to the appropriate sales office/sales consultant for assistance

v Participates in all special Call Center projects/incentive programs

 

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

v High School Diploma

v Previous customer service/call center experience

v Effective oral and written communication skills

v Highly motivated with ability to work unsupervised

v Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills

v Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills

v Strong computer skills, knowledge and use of Microsoft Word and Outlook

v Pleasant phone demeanor

Southland provides a wonderful work environment. Hours are Monday through Friday 9am-6pm and every other Saturday from 9am – 3pm.  You will receive Friday off on the weeks you work Saturday.
