Channel Manager APAC (ASIA/PACIFIC)

Solidscape®, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of high-precision 3D modeling rapid prototyping systems worldwide. This technology advances the state-of-the-art for computer-controlled fabrication of solid models. Solidscape systems are marketed worldwide and designed for numerous manufacturing applications including jewelry, jet engine turbine blades, dental, medical instruments and prosthetics, consumer goods, automotive parts, electronics and many other high-precision products.

 

 

Summary

 

The Channel Manager will work with Solidscape Distributors and Resellers located in the APAC (Asia Pacific) region on tactical sales and marketing campaigns to increase Channel revenue.

The Channel Manager main job is to assist existing Channel Partners in using our 3D modeling systems to solve their customers’ manufacturing problems and to seek for new Channel Partners.

Frequent travel within the assigned region will be required to ensure that the Channel Partners receive the necessary attention to secure their success in selling Solidscape products.

The Channel Manager will report to the VP of International Sales. 

 

 

Profile

 

The Channel Manager will be a people person who thrives on achieving targets and will have the following skills and experience :

- Fluent in English and Chinese with excellent oral and written communication skills in one additional Asian language

- Education level : bachelor degree in business or marketing, an MBA preferred

- Knowledge and 2-3 years of experience on Solution selling in a technological industry

- Knowledge and experience on how a 2-Tier Channel operates

- Develop sales, marketing and branding strategy with each distributor;

- Positive “can do” attitude; enthusiasm and vivaciousness

- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, highly energetic, self-starting, with the discipline to work with little direction

- Creative solution finding attitude
