As a Charitable Programs Administrative Assistant, you will provide support for philanthropic programs, including the New Balance Foundation, Corporate Charitable Contributions, and Community Investment. You will assist the Charitable Programs Managers with the flow of solicitations and ensure that proper documentation is obtained for organizations being considered for grants. You will utilize MicroEdge GIFTS software to report and track grants from initial request through payment. In this role, you will process advertisements for placement in Program Ad Books and fulfill all donor/sponsor benefits. You will be responsible for updating website content and responding to email inquiries. As an integral member of the team, you will monitor and administer the Corporate Match program to ensure all requests meet guidelines. You will track in-kind donations including gift packs and product giveaways. Associates Degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field. 1-3 years experience in related work or with a non-profit organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of public and local officials. Computer skills including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with or desire to learn MicroEdge GIFTS and Quark Express or Adobe Illustrator.
