Chemical Process Engineer - Resin

PPG Industries, an $11 billion leading producer of coatings, glass, chemicals, and fiberglass is seeking talented people for a Resin Process Engineer position at the Oak Creek (Milwaukee), Industrial Coatings production plant.


The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the production of polymers and resins in multiple reactor systems. The incumbent will identify opportunities, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to improve safety, quality, cost, and productivity. The person will be responsible for launching new products, scaling-up new resins, facilitating operator training, and providing engineering support for the plant.

A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and 2-5 years of chemical plant manufacturing experience required. Working knowledge of OSHA PSM and TS-16949 desired.

The manufacturing facility is considered a training location for the $1 billion Industrial Coatings division. It is located in a suburb of Milwaukee, with a metropolitan population of nearly 1 million people and only one hour from Chicago. Nestled along the shores of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee has a vibrant downtown with many cultural events, excellent restaurants, sports venues, and numerous outdoor activities.
