Chicago PDC Manager

- - POSITION LOCATED IN CHICAGO, ILREQUIREMENTS: ' Plans, develops, and directs Regional Parts Distribution Center activities.' Manage the stocking and selling of Freightliner and Mercedes Benz parts to dealers.' Assure logistics support and assistance is provided to dealers on parts requirements.' Administer and process all dealer PAR returns.' Monitor daily operations, advising and directing staff, to identify and solve problems relating to manpower, scheduling, quality, and facility arrangement.' Initiate continuous improvement activities for PDC Operations (POCIS) by deploying activities involving Six Sigma, Kaizen, Team Development, and Performance Management.' Analyze and recommend priority for capital expenditure improvements.' Develop Operational Budgets and adherence to allowable expenditure levels.' Recommend and actively support safety and training programs, new systems, or personnel actions, in accord with policies and objectives.' Participate in labor contract negotiations and the grievance procedure. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, with nine years of progressively increasing leadership experience, preferably in managing warehousing operations and four years of supervisory experience.
