Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Private equity backed manufacturing company located in a small town in Georgia is seeking a CEO with strong leadership, sales and marketing and understanding of manufacturing environment. Familiarity in working with private equity backed companies is a strong plus. 

 

Major Functions/Accountabilities

 Board Administration and Support -- Supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members, interfacing between Board and staff, and supporting Board's evaluation of chief executiveProgram, Product and Service Delivery -- Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and servicesFinancial, Tax, Risk and Facilities Management -- Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulationsHuman Resource Management -- Effectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulationsCommunity and Public Relations -- Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

 Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting Ten (10) years of experience in a leadership role for a large division or companyExperience in strategic planning and execution Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures Ability to develop financial plans and manage resourcesAbility to analyze and interpret financial dataKnowledge of public relations principles and practices Knowledge of communication and public relation techniquesAbility to develop and deliver presentationsAbility to identify and secure funding/revenue sources Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects

 

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require frequent weekend and evening work and may require frequent overnight travel.
